This bubble map, created by exporting data from Excel into Tableau, visualizes attendance totals for all thirty MLB teams. Each bubble’s size and color reflect the attendance levels, providing a quick visual comparison of team popularity and drawing power.

While the study is very straightforward, it offers valuable insights. Large-market playoff teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, and Phillies display the anticipated high attendance numbers. However, some smaller-market teams also show impressive turnout that might be unexpected, with an example being the attendance numbers achieved by both the Brewers and Rockies in 2024.
