Seven seasons in the Detroit Tigers clubhouse have given me a firsthand understanding of the demands of a 162-game season and the importance of anticipating the needs of players and staff. I have seen how simplicity, hospitality, attention to detail, and strong relationships can create an environment that allows everyone to focus on the game.
My business education has also provided a foundation in finance, accounting, and budgeting relevant to the administrative side of team travel.
These experiences have fueled my passion for baseball travel and inspired the pieces below, which build on ideas and practices I have observed in use around the game.
