MLB Arbitration Analyzer
The MLB Arbitration Analyzer estimates player arbitration figures by combining past performance, current statistics, and projected outcomes with contract status. The tool generates data-driven recommendations for team offers, highlights potential player asks, and calculates the midpoint between the two. It also projects a player’s 2026 surplus value, based on ZiPS WAR forecasts and the team’s potential offer.

The NPB-to-MLB Translation
Using data from all former NPB players currently active in MLB, this system quantifies the average statistical changes experienced by players transitioning from NPB to MLB. Designed to enhance confidence during contract negotiations, it provides insights into expected performance adjustments, offering a data-driven foundation for player evaluation and decision-making.
Roki Sasaki Study

2024 Salary-Per-Win Visualization
This visualization presents a straightforward yet powerful analysis of how much each MLB team spent per win over the 2024 season. By comparing salary costs against team performance, it provides insight into which teams achieved the greatest value for their investment, making it easier to assess efficiency in spending and strategic team-building approaches across the league.
Surplus Value Analyzer
This database ranks players by surplus value, calculated as: Surplus Value = (fWAR × Price of WAR) - Salary Obligation. For the data provided, the market value is set at $8,000,000 per WAR, making it simple to compare a player’s cost to their performance. The resulting ranking highlights players providing the most value relative to their cost, helping to identify efficient spending and high-value contracts across teams.
Total Surplus Value by Team
The Treemap shows each team's total surplus value. Red squares mark teams with negative surplus, indicating they paid more than the value they got from players, while other colors show positive surplus, indicating good returns on investment.
2024 MLB Attendance Totals
The bubble chart visualizes the total attendance for each MLB team during the 2024 season. Each bubble represents a team, with the size proportional to its total attendance. Teams with attendance below the league average are highlighted in red, making it easy to identify those that may be struggling with fan engagement.
